Child Empowerment Program
Donor: Liliane Fonds and Center for Disability in Development (CDD)
Goal: Goal of this project is, “To ensure rights of children with disabilities on health, education, livelihood, social inclusion and makes an inclusive society”.
Project Objectives are below:
·Access to healthcare facilities will be improved and children with disabilities getting health services locally with doctor consultation and medicine support for free or less at cost.
· Skill on therapy providing will be increased to parents / caregiver for taking care of their children with disabilities.
·Children with disabilities physical functional capacity will be improve and increased mobility after getting therapy services.
· Children with disabilities will equally getting opportunity for inclusive education and continuing studies.
· Youth with Disabilities will be engage in labour the market and continuing income generating activities for their living.
· Youth with Disabilities and parents / caregiver will receive entrepreneurship training for improving their business capacity.
·Government service providing institutions will play effective referral linkage role for persons with disabilities and provide required services.
· Children with disabilities will get opportunity to take parts in the extracurricular activities such as inclusive sports/art & cultural program and competition.
·Persons with disabilities communicational skill will be improve and themselves will obtain required services through referral linkage system.
Total Beneficiaries: 350 Children with Disabilities aged from 01 - 25 Years.
